Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 28, 2026 ยท Last updated: July 2, 2026
FitDaily ("FitDaily", "we", "us", or "our") builds you one AI-personalized workout a day. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at fitdaily.net and the FitDaily mobile app (together, the "Services"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to keep it plain-spoken โ if anything is unclear, email us at support@fitdaily.net.
The short version: We collect only what we need to send you your beta invite and to generate your workouts. We don't sell your data, and we never use your fitness or account data to target ads. Our website does show ads through Google AdSense, which may use cookies; our own analytics stay cookie-less. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Contents
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Beta waitlist email. When you join the beta on our website, we collect the email address you submit so we can send you an invite and beta-related updates.
- App profile (mobile app). When you use the FitDaily app, you tell us your fitness goal, how much time you have, and what equipment you have access to, so we can tailor your workouts.
- Workout activity (mobile app). Which workouts you start and complete, plus the streaks and consistency history that builds up as you use the app.
- Messages you send us. If you email us for support or feedback, we keep that correspondence.
Information collected automatically
When you submit the beta form on our website, we also record a small amount of technical context to prevent abuse and understand where signups come from:
- Browser user agent (your browser/OS string).
- Referrer (the page that linked you to us, if any).
- Signup source (which form/landing page you used).
- Timestamp of your signup.
We also store a local copy of the email you submitted in your own browser's
localStorage so that a network hiccup never loses your signup. This stays on your device.
2. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Send you your beta invitation and beta-related updates.
- Create and operate your FitDaily account and generate your daily personalized workouts.
- Track your streaks, history, and progress so you can see your consistency.
- Respond to your support requests and feedback.
- Understand how the Services are used, fix problems, and improve them.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we never use your account, workout, or health & fitness data to target advertising. Our website does display third-party ads via Google AdSense, which is described in Cookies & analytics below.
3. Health & fitness data
If you choose to connect Apple Health, the FitDaily app reads activity metrics such as your step count and active energy. We use this only to fine-tune the intensity of each day's workout around how active you've already been. This data is read on your device with your permission, and you can revoke access at any time in your device's Health settings. We do not sell or share health and fitness data, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. AI-generated workouts
FitDaily generates your daily workouts using AI services provided by Anthropic (the makers of Claude). To build a workout, we send the relevant inputs โ such as your goal, available time, and equipment โ to Anthropic's API. We do not send your email address or directly identifying contact details for this purpose. Anthropic processes this data to return a workout and, per its terms, does not use API inputs to train its models.
5. Cookies & analytics
Our website uses GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to count page views and understand general traffic patterns. GoatCounter does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifying information.
Our website also displays ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads โ including personalized ads based on your visits to this and other websites โ and to measure ad performance. Through these technologies Google may process data such as your IP address, device and browser information, and your interactions with ads. To review or opt out of personalized advertising, visit Google Ads Settings and Google's advertising notice. Because AdSense can set advertising cookies, visitors in regions that require it (such as the EEA and UK) may be shown a consent choice before non-essential cookies are used.
Aside from AdSense, the FitDaily website does not use other advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our hosting and database providers may set strictly necessary technical cookies or process standard server logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site.
6. When we share information
We share personal information only in these limited situations:
- With service providers who help us operate the Services (see the next section), under agreements that limit how they may use it.
- For legal reasons, if required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FitDaily, our users, or the public.
- In a business transfer, if FitDaily is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we'll notify you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
7. Service providers
We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run FitDaily:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Stores the beta waitlist and app data (database & backend). |
| Netlify | Hosts the FitDaily website. |
| Anthropic (Claude) | Generates personalized workouts via AI. |
| GoatCounter | Cookie-less website analytics. |
| Google AdSense | Displays ads on the FitDaily website; may set advertising cookies. |
| Apple | App distribution (TestFlight / App Store) and, with your permission, Apple Health. |
8. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as it's needed for the purposes described in this policy. Beta waitlist emails are kept until the beta concludes or you ask us to remove you. App account data is kept while your account is active. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time (see your rights below).
9. How we protect your data
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. For example, our waitlist database is configured so that the public website key can only add new signups โ it cannot read, change, or export the list. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and to address any issues promptly.
10. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information ("right to be forgotten").
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Deleting your account and data. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: open Profile → Delete account. This immediately and irreversibly removes your account, workouts, streaks, and progress from our servers. You can also request deletion by emailing support@fitdaily.net.
To exercise any of your other rights, email support@fitdaily.net and we'll respond within a reasonable time. You can unsubscribe from beta emails at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us. We won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
11. Children's privacy
FitDaily is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
12. International users
FitDaily is operated from the United States, and your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data-protection laws different from those in your country. By using the Services, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in these locations.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
